French 1960s Colombian Emerald and Diamond Ring in 18k White Gold
French work from the second half of the 20th century, this elegant 18k white gold ring features a substantial octagonal bezel set with a remarkable natural Colombian emerald of rectangular step-cut shape with cut corners. The center stone, displaying a particularly vivid and luminous intense green color, is mounted in a double claw setting and surrounded by brilliant-cut diamonds harmoniously enhancing its brilliance.
The diamond-set shoulders together with the openwork geometric gallery reflect refined craftsmanship characteristic of French jewelry from the 1960s.
The emerald is accompanied by a Carat Gem Lab report confirming its Colombian origin as well as minor clarity enhancement.
